Hello! My name is Kara and I am a mother of 4 lovely children under the age of 11! Connor, Owen, Emma and my youngest Evan …. oh and of course my husband Mike! lol
I work full time outside the home and in the spare time I have I LOVE to cook/bake. Being in a big clean kitchen just relaxes me. I am always looking for new things to try and people are always asking me what I am currently making.
I thought I would start this blog for those who care to follow what I am making and share recipes! Some of the dishes I make are a little complicated but for the most part I try and keep them under an hour to make a cook because most nights are crazy getting dinner on the table.
On November 7, 2012 my husband and I started a new journey together, the Ideal Protein program. As of January 23, 2013 we have EACH lost 50 lb on the program. Since we have friends starting the same program and dinner ideas are always needed I decided to start posting our dinner recipes idea to help others out! These are no carb, no fat (well good fat), no sugar and lean meat dinners. So just about anyone could make them, not just those on Ideal Protein!
