Pork Chops and Stuffing

I didn’t want to do the same old pork chops, I wanted something different to keep everyone interested.  So I went online and found bunches and bunches of recipes for pork chops and stuffing.   I am not a big stuffing lover and I have tried a lot.  I don’t know what it is about stuffing that I don’t like, maybe the seasoning?  Everyone has told me, “Oh you have to try MY stuffing.”  I do… and it’s okay.  Nothing to write home about (sorry to those people who have said this to me)  So I was worried about this dish.  But then I found out Campbell’s had a recipe for it!  Well how can you go wrong with Campbell’s?

I loved this dish, it was really easy and really tasty!  My older 2 boys did not like it so well, but I think it was because of the stuffing.  They just didn’t care for the taste.  Everyone else gobbled it up.

Pork Chops and Stuffing

1 box of stuffing – pork or chicken
6 boneless pork chops 3/4-inch thick
1 can cream of chicken
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Prepare the stuffing according to the package directions.  Spoon the stuffing across the center of a baking dish.  Season and brown the pork on each side without cooking it completely.  Place the pork on each side of the stuffing. (one layer)  Stir the soup and milk in a small bowl, pour the soup mixture over the pork.  Bake at 400°F. for 30 minutes or until the pork is cooked through.  Sprinkle with the cheese if you wish, it’s yummy with it!
